RELIEF KITS (Ingathering)
30 Years Celebrated!
The Thanksgiving Ingathering was started by a few IA churches in 1979, and in 2009 the conference celebrated 30 years. This event provides United Methodists with an opportunity to share their abundance as they fight issues of hunger, poverty, and health locally and around the world. Read more on kit needs at the Iowa Conference website, search for "Ingathering 2008 Booklet". Items are collected for shipping the first Saturday in November at various locations throughout Iowa.
