Iowa Methodist Camps
Welcome to Iowa United Methodist Camps!
Christ-centeredness diversity leadership spirituality relationships fun/joy love self-esteem/self-worth safety connectionalism
The mission of the Board of Camp, Conference and Retreat Ministries is to provide sacred space where Jesus Christ transforms lives, persons grow in Christian discipleship and leaders are developed to empower their local churches in the world; and to facilitate this mission through Christian love. Check out the camps for more about their special ministries and programs.
Camp is a very special ministry that reaches kids in ways that the home church cannot. There are early morning walks with God, new ways to encounter Jesus at camp and you can feel the presence of God around you at camp. Nothing can compare to the way you worship God at the camp fire! We would love to see every child get a chance at camp at some point. . The Carroll FUMC church will pay half of the camp cost up to $100.
2010 Camp books are on the front desk. Pick one up & schedule your summer of fun!!
Help Sponsor a Child to go to Camp
This year we have camp envelopes available. Donations will help the children get to camp above and beyond the average $100.00 scholarship. Most of the camps run from $300-$400 for a week of camp for just one child. If you have more than one child this gets very expensive. Please help children get to camp this year for a life impacting week. Any amount will help! Let’s see how many kids’ lives we can make a difference in!
