Sunday classes @ 9:15 AM 
Preschool - 5th Grade 
                 
      Rotation style Sunday School made-up of different workshops that teach Bible Stories.  Workshops include: Art, Science, Storytelling, Movie & TV News, Puppets, Drama, & Games (3 years of age up to 5th grade) meet mid September through early May.
 
     Children rotate to different workshops every week with their teachers, learning one Bible Story during their rotation.  This year our first rotation theme is “New Beginnings” includes the story of creation.
  
 
       Sunday School resumes September 19, 2010 with a Carnival to kick off the new season.   
(No classes over the Christmas Holiday) 
 
 

NURSERY -- Main St. level

 

    Available on Sundays for babies up to kindergarten, located on the Main Street level.  Parents - please be sure to share your cell number for the nursery staff to use as a pager during worship, should they need to contact you.

 U.M. Kids (1st to 5th) 

 
Weekly after school program (Sept-April) every Wednesday unless early-out/holiday

 

       1st - 3rd graders --> from 3:30-5:00 PM, after school for fellowship & play

       4th - 5th graders --> from 5:30-6:30 PM to enjoy fun in worship and games with friends.

Kids have snacks, fellowship, and activities that are linked to a weekly Bible lesson.  Both groups rotate through different activities throughout the school year such as crafts, movies, games.  UM Kids take turns sharing afternoon snack.  Special field trips includes: swimming at Rec Center, playing at local parks, tours of local businesses, and lots more.  On days when traveling offsite groups will travel together.

 Mini Methodists (Kindergarten)

 
Meets monthly the first Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 PM

 

Kindergarteners meet monthly to share in God's word through activities.  Play with your friends and enjoy learning about Christ.

 Vacation Bible School (age 3 - 5th grade)  

 
 
VBS is a 1 week summer evening event (6:00-8:30 PM) with an all family program the final night. 

 

We set sail for VBS fun on the High Seas!  Felt the sea spray as sails snapped overhead our crew experienced the deep, rolling waters of God’s love!  V.B.S. yearly includes fellowship, fun, food, and more.  Open to the entire community and friends of any faith or non-faith background. 

  A few months prior VBS participant forms (for three years up to completed fifth grade) or leader volunteer forms (6th grade-adult) will be made available.  Each participant pays about $10.00 or $20.00/family to provide: VBS T-shirt, craft supplies, snacks, and lessons.   

  2010 all offering went to support NothingButNets a program that provides bed netting for African children and their families [$10.00/net purchase] to prevent malaria transfered by mosquitos.
