     June 2010, Carroll FUMC welcomed the Bailey family.  A native farmer from Minburn IA, Pastor Dennis Bailey earned his undergrad in Religion at Simpson College then attended Perkins Seminary in Texas.  His first appointment was at Charter Oak-Ute-Deloit in 1978 with his Elder ordainment in 1981.  Along with wife Nancy, has three married sons.

Suzi Olberding [suziolberding@msn.com] has a background of Children's education.  Along with husband Dave, and their three kids, their family makes Carroll FUMC their home.  You can find Suzi interacting with the young people of FUMC through after school activities, programs like VBS or UM Kids, or continuing to provide educational leadership.  She might even be out and about planning/purchasing/training for the next big event.  Her love of Christ's children is evident in all she does for Carroll FUMC's young people.  Contact her at ext. 203

Jason Bush - Youth Ministry Coordinator

Jason and his family have been an active part of our First United Methodist Church through a number of roles.  He has been assisting with our youth ministry programs for many years.  As of July 2011, he joined our paid staff as director for our Jr. and Sr. High youth programs.  Jason has a passion for ministry and missions... how can you help him grow our church youth program?

Verona has been managing the offices of First United Methodist church of Carroll for over 40 years.  She is a great asset to the community and the staff.  She can be found in the office on weekday mornings working on newsletters, bulletins, or making Baptism banners.  Call or stop in to talk with her, ext. 201.

Since marrying Dale Liechti (of Arcadia), they call Carroll their home.  Joined the Carroll FUMC staff in Sept. 2009; previously Office Administrator at the First United Methodist Church in Indianola, IA.

Rebecca (Beccy) [r.whartonliechti@gmail.com], a Theological Offspring, loves working with young people, participating in mission trips, and camping/Boundary Waters.  Travels with V.I.M. to places like Central America or the Caribbeans teaching God's Word and aiding with construction projects.  Wherever she goes, there always is a Methodist Church with welcoming arms.  In the office on weekday afternoons.

Jacki Montgomery - Music Director

Responsible for the music ministry of Carroll First United Methodist and decorates our church for the seasons along with Holiday worship.  Contact her if you would like to help with the decoration minitry.  She loves to share God's blessings through songs, instrument, and group chorals as well as booking other musical acts to share with the community.  Jacqueline owns Sound and Service, a retail electronics store, located in Carroll.

She maintains a private studio; serves as a guest conductor and clinician in area schools; also co-conducts All Strings Attached.

Music Ministries:

Vocal Choir 9:00 AM Sunday rehearsals    (Sept-May)

• Sing traditional & contemporary songs

Ellen provides organ music for our Saturday or Sunday Worship services.  Also directs the Carroll FUMC Bell Choir.

Long time resident of Carroll along with her husband Mike.  When not out RVing, Nancy provides organ music for our Saturday or Sunday Worship services.
